Hope Counter
During the darkest days of the pandemic, one number never made headlines: recoveries.
Hope Counter changed that.
In partnership with the Red Cross, we built a live platform that celebrated every COVID-19 recovery in real time —
turning statistics into stories of resilience.
Each new count wasn’t just data, but a reminder: survivors could now help others by donating antibody-rich plasma.
A shift in focus — from fear to healing, from crisis to collective strength.
BRANDING
Our task began with the crucial step of identifying a reliable and enduring data source for COVID-19 recovery statistics. After extensive research, we chose Johns Hopkins University's API, specifically for news broadcasting. This choice ensured that our platform would have access to accurate and constantly updated information, essential for reflecting the pandemic's real-time nature and driving our initiative's message of hope.
